The solution

To address Norsk bedriftsmegling’s initial challenge, we focused on Google Search. The search ads were set up to attract potential customers who were actively looking for opportunities to sell their business. We ran campaigns related to both buying and selling companies, but agreed that the primary objective was to attract sellers. In-depth keyword analyses were conducted to ensure that NBM was visible on relevant search terms. This approach has been highly successful, resulting in increased traffic, many new customers, and stronger interest from the target audience looking to sell their business.

As mentioned, this has been a strong collaboration over several years. When Norsk bedriftsmegling made major changes to their website in 2021, we also made significant changes to the setup of our ads. We created campaigns and ads that reflected the new content on their site and conducted new analyses.

Over time, the goals were adjusted as NBM’s needs evolved. The original ads generated so much interest that they saw the need to shift focus towards people looking to buy a business. With an increased ad budget over a three-month period, they received 28 inquiries from people wanting to buy businesses!
