Motek contacted us when they wanted to increase sales on motek.no, and generally create greater visibility and presence online. Through the collaboration, Motek has experienced an increase in online sales, more traffic to the website and broader visibility among the target group.

The challenge

Motek has 60 years of experience as a partner to the construction industry, supplying world-leading tools, fasteners and high-quality services. They offer several of the best-known brands in the world, such as Hilti, Festool and Bostitch, in commercial construction, installation, timber construction and civil engineering. Motek came to us because they wanted increased sales in their online store and greater online visibility.

The result

The collaboration resulted in increased sales, more traffic on the site and greater visibility among the target group. We achieved this by working strategically with organic visibility through SEO, and by advertising on relevant keywords and search phrases with Google Ads.

What we did/solution

In order to reach Motek's target, we made a run for existing customers, but also for those who were not searching directly for Motek - but rather the products they offer. In addition to search advertising and SEO, part of the success factor in reaching the target group was the use of remarketing and DSA (Dynamic Search Ads). As a brand-building activity, we also started using RDA (Responsive Display Ads), which is a form of banner advertising.

Through the collaboration, we have used a combination of push and pull marketing to make Motek visible to as many customers and potential customers as possible. We have also combined an always-on strategy with various relevant campaigns throughout the year, such as Black Friday, with extra focus on specific products.
