With the goal of attracting people to the housing fairs in Oslo, Bergen and Steinkjer, Boligmesse reached out to us. Through a combination of Google Display advertising and search advertising via Google Ads, this resulted in a significant increase in both downloaded tickets and the number of visitors.
Every year, Boligmessen organizes the largest and most inspiring home fairs in Scandinavia, targeting everyone who owns a home or is planning a renovation. Boligmesse came to us wanting to get as many people as possible to download a free ticket to use at the fair, and asked for support in attracting more visitors to the events at a lower cost per attendee.

We chose to combine Google Display advertising and search advertising through Google Ads. To be sure what the target audience responded best to, we initially ran various tests with different designs and messages. Through this, we learned, among other things, that one design worked very well in one city, while another design performed best in another. This was valuable insight for Boligmesse to take forward.
We maintained close weekly dialogue with the client, ensuring both parties had clear insight into performance and progress. We tracked the number of downloaded tickets so we always knew how close we were to the goal for each campaign. To ensure reporting quality, we cross-checked these figures against the client’s own tracking in the website backend. The combination of running search advertising and Google Display advertising proved highly successful, delivering a significant increase in both the number of downloaded tickets and the number of visitors.
