Marketing strategy can be defined as the planning and implementation of measures to enable a company to market its products or services effectively. An example of an initiative is producing targeted content on social media to increase brand awareness and sales.
What does a marketing strategy contain?
To reach out with the desired message, the company needs to conduct a situation analysisIdentify. target group, set marketing goals and further implement actions on the marketing channels that the target audience is on. Here are some important elements to consider:
- Develop a message strategy: think about the message to be marketed and create a common thread across the various channels.
- Map the platform's tone of voice: clarify the language, style and tone of the content. This should reflect the brand identity.
- Create a budget plan: plan how much will be invested and how the funds will be distributed across different platforms and activities.
- Location and publishing plan: plan the activities systematically and set a time for when the activities should be completed.
